Thank you Gordon Olvera in the review above or below! Make sure you put the little adapter on the wiper the right way round. After you’ve gone “damn I’ve ordered the wrong wiper” because it doesn’t look like the one you’ve just taken off. Then you’ll find the little box of adapters and think you’ve got the right one again, and you look for the code on the back for which adapter to use. When the California or Transporter aren’t listed you’ll repeat “damn I’ve got the wrong wiper” but there’s a number 4 on your old wiper and it looks right so you’ll use number 4; there’s a minuscule picture of a number 4 bracket being put on the wiper in the instructions highlighting the number 4. What it doesn’t show is it’s actually trying to highlight is a tiny arrow showing which way round the bracket goes on. So if, like me, you’re worried about forcing it on the van cos it doesn’t feel right, and an internet search brings you here, thank Mr Olvera and check the arrows are at the same end. It should then click in nicely.
