Sink-Top Chopping Board / Work Surface for VW California T6.1/T6/T5

Well made, groove on underside fits snuggly on the rim of the VW supplied washing up bowl with no play. Material is thick enough not to flex and sufficiently heat resistant to not deteriorate when hot pans, kettles etc are place on top. Will not use as a chopping board – Knives may score the surface and at this price, I do not consider this a consumable item! Prefer to use cheap thinner plastic chopping mats for cutting food. For us the main benefit is an extra square foot or so of available worktop area next to the gas hob whilst still having access to the cold water tap. One of those after market accessories that enable us to get more from what is a wonderfully compact campervan to begin with. Not so important for those driving larger campervans/motorhomes. Maybe VW should look at providing one in new vehicles!
