Description Thule Wanderway Bike Rack/Cycle Carrier for VW California T6/T6.1 – Black In comparison to the original VW T6/T6.1 Bike rack (which is also manufactured by Thule), this rack arguably has a better color scheme compared to the silver version. The black rack has been a desire for many over the last few years and this bike rack allows you to achieve the sleek look without the need for powder coating. The locking thumb screw clamps are upgraded with torque thumb screws so as to not over-tighten. The Wanderway can take E-bikes (so long as you keep under the weight limits) and has the new upgraded ratchet pump action wheel straps. All of the tools needed to fit the Wanderway are included, including the protective tape. The Wanderway is fitted in the same way as the original VW Rack to the tailgate of the T6/T6.1. The bike rack is designed to transport 2 bikes (including E-Bikes), however, a 3rd and 4th adaptors can be purchased separately to up the loading capacity to 4 bikes. Thanks to the raised position of the rack, the view of the rear lights is maintained for the following traffic.
