La Bassine Maxi Birth Pools La Bassine Maxi birth pools are designed for women who prefer the added space of a larger pool. The Maxi is 50% larger than our La Bassine Original birth pool, holding up to 628 litres of water and comfortably accommodating two people. After consulting with our midwives and international distributors, we have manufactured our maxi pool with user comfort and convenience as the primary focus of its design. Additionally, two grab handles are at the top for easy access to the pool. There are four more handles inside, ideally placed for added comfort – where you need them. Consequently, there are no unnecessary built-in obstacles inside or outside the pool. We designed our Maxi pool to ensure you enjoy a safe and comfortable birth. As with our La Bassine original birth pool, it has transparent sides, allowing clear visibility. It has a cocoon-like shape, with plenty of room for two people to move around. The deep blue colour enhances the sense of privacy and induces deep relaxation. Please note that you need to purchase a liner separately.
